Great Italian stories : ten parallel texts

This dual-language edition of ten stories selectedfrom The Penguin Book of Italian Short Stories celebrates literature from Italy in twentieth-century. Each story is presented in Italian on the left page of the book, while the English translated version is on the right. Most of the included stories are translated for the first time, which are written by beloved authors such as Italo Calvino, Natalia Ginzburg and more. The author, Jhumpa Lahiri, received the Pulitzer Prize in 2000 for Interpreter of Maladies, and was awarded a National Humanities Medal in 2015.
