  新快报讯 记者 夏世焱 摄影报道 2020 年 1 月 7 日，广州图书馆馆长方家忠向媒体发布 2019 年广图"成绩单"。截止 2019 年底，广州图书馆（包括广州图书馆的通借通还分馆 16 个）全年接待公众访问量达 917.5 万人次，其中新馆接待访问 798.4 万人次，平均每天有 2.5 万人次到馆，继续保持国内公共图书馆领先位置。同时，广州图书馆的实体馆藏资源总量也累计达到 1026 万册（件），馆藏总量突破千万，标志着作为一家城市图书馆，广州图书馆已经迈入大型公共图书馆前列。
