Brossa en Cantón
Exhibition of Visual Poems by Spanish Poet Joan Brossa
Joan Brossa (1919-1998), a Spanish modern poet, playwright, graphic designer and visual artist, created many visual poems as an important part of his artistic works. Through a mix-and-match of letters, colors, everyday objects and symbols, Brossa skillfully conveyed poetry and thoughts in his visual poems such as Estel, Sherlock Holmes and Miami Beach. His works demonstrated great international influences with many exhibitions in France, Mexico, German, Sweden and other countries. This time, the exhibition in Guangzhou will certainly lead our readers to the unique world of visual poems and Spanish avant-garde art.
